The Hub City Bulldogs were founded in 2018 to offer Crestview and the surrounding communities another option for football and cheer and to have the opportunity to participate in Pop Warner programs.
The Hub City Bulldogs offers:
Cheerleading for ages 3 to 14
Tackle football for ages 5 to 14
Our football and cheer programs both utilize age based divisions to determine team placement. For football, there are no minimum or maximum weights.
Why Pop Warner?
Pop Warner is the leading youth football, cheerleading and dance organization with programs and participants across the country. Their core focus is to serve youth, striving to:
1. Encourage and increase youth participation in football, cheerleading and dance
2. Ensure a safer and positive playing environment for all participants
3. Instill life-long values of teamwork, dedication and a superior work ethic on the playing field and in the classroom
Some additional benefits of playing for Pop Warner include:
- No Tryouts. Everyone makes the team
- Mandatory Play Requirement. Every child is guaranteed to participate
- Team First. It’s all about teamwork; no individual stats are recognized.
- Student-Athletes. Pop Warner requires minimum academic standards to be met to participate on the team.
- Code of Conduct. All coaches and participants are required to create a positive environment.
- Background checks. All coaches and volunteers with repetitive contact with participants need to be cleared.
Speaking of academic standards. Pop Warner is the only national youth sports organization in America that requires its participants to perform adequately in the classroom before permitting them to play. Proof of satisfactory progress in school is required. A 70% and/or 2.0 GPA or equivalent shall be the minimum grade point average acceptable for players to participate.

We have quickly become a prominent football and cheer organization here in the Florida Panhandle, the Southeast region and nationally. In football, we’ve earned 27 football conference championships. And in cheer, we have 10 national placement finishes with 7 regional championships and 3 national championships in Pop Warner competitions and a 3rd place finish at YCADA Globals. These awards are a testament to the hard work and dedication of every athlete, coach, and volunteer. While we are certainly proud of our athletic accomplishments, we take even greater pride in the outstanding citizenship of our athletes both in the classroom and in the community.
